Facebook is getting pelted in the media recently. They’ll likely shrug it off or kowtow to the far Left menace calling for censorship. In this case it’s an ad agency representing mega-conglomerates who has boycotted Facebook Ads – meaning that they will no longer advertise on Facebook – until the company removes what they deem as “hate speech”. In particular, the companies want Facebook to censor President Donald Trump and practically everyone on the Right.
Gateway Pundit did a brief article on the controversy, where major companies like BMW, Paypal, HP, Adobe, Pepsi, and Doritos will no longer be advertised on Facebook through Facebook Ads because the advertising agency Goodby Silverstein of the Omnicom Group, who represents all of the aforementioned corporations, decided to pull advertising via the #StopHateForProfit campaign.
CNBC explained that this effort is being spearheaded by Sleeping Giants, a notorious outfit known for getting funding pulled from anyone who doesn’t toe the line for the Leftist agenda, along with the NAACP, Color For Change…
“Last week, a group of six organizations, including the Anti-Defamation League, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Sleeping Giants and Color of Change, called on Facebook advertisers to halt their spending on the social media platform during the month of July. They’re asking large brands “to show they will not support a company that puts profit over safety.”
The boycott, according to Silverstein, will only last for a month, and then it’s back to business as usual.
The company is using their leverage for a single month to get Facebook to enact even more censorship than they already have. Knowing how the company is run and the recent hidden camera reports showing how far Left they are, it wouldn’t be surprising if Facebook began to censor President Trump to accommodate the corporatocracy that runs America.
