Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Cordelia Mystical Boss Fight Leaks

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has yet another leaked gameplay video that’s out in the wild. Arriving ahead of Ubisoft’s July 12th “Forward” digital event is a new boss fight video showing Eivor facing off with the magical Cordelia.

The new leaked footage shows off the “female” version of Eivor, as seen in the last leaked session. With that said, viewers get to see Eivor travel to Theotford Forest — a place haunted by dark spirits — as “she” investigates the ritual grounds.

Nevertheless, a deceased female warrior strung up and abandoned by the Valkyries comes to life —although it’s unclear if it’s an illusion or magic — revealing that she is Cordelia, the daughter of King Lerion.

It’s worth noting that Cordelia attacks those that do not pay King Lerion respect since he was betrayed and denied by his friends. However, Cordelia perceives Eivor as being like the others that disrespected the King. From here, a janky and uninspired boss fight ensues.

This fight is classified under the “East Anglia Mysteries,” which is funny given on May 2nd, 2020, website gamingbolt.com reported on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla narrative director Darby McDevitt saying that the forthcoming game “won’t go heavy into Norse Mythology” like God of War:

“God of War is great–yeah, I’ve played it. It’s fantastic. I wouldn’t say we’re too worried because most games, when they touch this topic, they actually skew very heavily towards the mythology. So that’s the front-facing feature–you play God of War so you can go punch Baldur in the face, meet all these characters, and travel to fantastical environments.

Very few games actually treat the Norse Viking experience as historically grounded. I think the urge is to always immediately lead with the mythology stuff, but we really want you to feel like you’re living in the Dark Ages of England, that you’re exploring the Roman ruins left behind 400 to 500 years earlier by the Romans and the remnants of the Britannic tribes before that and even the Saxon Pagans before they all converted to Christianity.”

With that said, you can check out gameplay footage of the Cordelia magical boss fight right here:

There’s a backup of the video available on Bitchute.

You can check it out below.

Alternatively, there’s a backup upload available on Catbox.

If you can’t see the video anymore, here are screenshots for your viewing pleasure:

At the end of the video, we can see that the player has Global Power, and three skill trees to advance. The first being Wolf Power (this covers blue nodes and increases wolf powers and offers a buff to all wolf-aligned gear), the second is Bear Power (and does the same except for bear aligned powers), and Raven Power (which increases raven-aligned gear and raven powers). You can check out the skill tree right here:

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will release for PC via Uplay and the Epic Games Store, PS4, Xbox One, PS5, and Xbox Series X sometime in Q4 2020.
