After launching in late June for the Xbox One and PS4, Nacon and Neopica’s Hunting Simulator 2 has finally arrived in all its glory on the grandmaster gaming platform to rule them all: PC.
You can pick up a digital copy right now from participating e-tailers, including the Steam store, where it’s available for $39.99 with a 10% off discount for the first week of being available.
The game features 33 different species you can hunt across six square miles of Colorado mountains, the open plains of Texas, and the forests of Eastern Europe.
You can check out the launch trailer below to get a glimpse of what the gameplay is like on PC.
The game comes jam packed with 75 different weapons and customizable accessories, along with 90 different clothing items from official hunting brands.
They also rolled out some DLC for launch featuring Marc Newson’s Beretta Model 486 long-barrel hunting shotgun.
It’s a shame we don’t get these kind of weapons in other shooting games. It’s always the same old, same old, time and time over again.
Leave it to the little guys to add something new and exciting to tried and tired genres.
You also have access to a pet pup who you can take with you on your hunting excursions. He’ll help sniff out your prey and track down targets. That’s a nice little addition to the hunting simulator genre… a genre that’s typically been stale for many years.
Anyway, Hunting Simulator 2 is currently available for home consoles and PC. If you already own the original Hunting Simulator on Steam, you’ll get an instant 30% off discount if you decide to purchase the second game on Steam.
This is one of the rare games released in [current year] made by men, for men.
If you want to support patriotic developers who haven’t betrayed America, feel free to check out Hunting Simulator 2.
