Exit The Gungeon Now Available On Nintendo Switch, Steam

Exit The Gungeon

Devolver Digital and Dodge Roll Singlecore’s Exit The Gungeon launched for the Nintendo Switch and on Steam for PC over the weekend. It’s one of the games that wasn’t impacted by Corona-chan. The multiplayer rogue-like takes everything from the original game, and then turns some of it on its head, which didn’t actually turn out to be the brightest idea from the developer. Carrion Sneak Peek Demo Available For Limited Time

Carrion

It’s not often you get to play as a villain in a video game. Oftentimes you’re a goody two-shoes trying to save the world, a loved one, humanity, or prevent global disaster from taking place. In the case of Phobia Game Studio and Devolver Digital’s Carrion, the game places you in the role of an amorphous eldritch creature that starts off trying to survive, and eventually mutates into a dominate force trying to eradicate everything in its path. One of the coolest cyberpunk games to release this generation is Reikon Games’ Ruiner, a sexy-and-dangerous journey into the grotesque underbelly of a violent yet tech-savvy future where gangs run amok, sex sells in spades, and body harvesting is just another way to make quick cash, or avoid becoming part of the meat grinder. My Friend Pedro Nintendo Switch Review: Gunplay Tainted By Puzzles

My Friend Pedro Review

DeadToast Entertainment’s My Friend Pedro originally released back in June of 2019 for PC and Nintendo Switch, and later in December for Xbox One. For those of us out there who don’t waste time or money on digital-only releases, the game’s physical release came a little later for the Switch in the fall, which is when I picked up a copy of the game. I’m a little bit of two minds about the title due to a love-hate relationship with some elements, but certainly more love than hate. My Friend Pedro Heads To Retail For Nintendo Switch November 12th

My Friend Pedro

One of the most inventive games to come out this year is DeadToast Entertainment’s My Friend Pedro, a 2.5D side-scrolling shoot-’em-up that combines all of the acrobatic bullet-ballet from Max Payne, but with a healthy dose of platforming action and physics-based kill-shots that would make the carrot-munching protagonist from Shoot ‘Em Up blush. For those of you who craved the opportunity to play the game straight from the cart when it arrives on the store shelves of participating retailers on November 12th.
