EA and DICE’s Battlefield V has gone broke again. Between the coronavirus forcing devs to work from home, the woke history revision, and devs condemning critics by telling them “if you don’t like it, then don’t buy it” all came together for another “get woke, go broke” moment. Linux gamers using the Lutris distribution are reporting that they’re being permanently banned from Battlefield V. The bans are apparently coming from EA’s anti-cheat software, known as FairFight.
