Although I always suspected (and now I know) that other versions of the game might be technically superior, I’ve been waiting for RIME to land on the Nintendo Switch before testing it out. I don’t know why, but something about its softly crafted graphics and understated, natural beauty made me feel like it was a natural stablemate for Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which has proven to be such a joyous pleasure when played under any circumstances – on the train, in the bar and certainly at home. Some of you may have noticed that during live-streams and playthroughs of RiME on PC the game had a lot of stutter, slowdown during certain segments where the camera would swivel in large areas, and that there were frequent hiccups that hampered input latency and playability. Well, crackers finally cracked the Denuvo DRM for RiME and discovered that it was Denuvo causing all the performance issues on PC.
