Michael Pachter Questions If Xbox Scorpio Can Hit Native 4K For $500

Microsoft and Sony have been going on quite a bit about 4K gaming. It’s one of the staple buzzwords used to market the PS4 Pro and the upcoming Xbox Scorpio. Sony released the PS4 Pro last year for $399.99, promising 4K gaming resolutions but forfeited to inform gamers that the 4K would sometimes drop below par, utilizing checkerboard filtering to hit resolutions close to 4K and doing so at only 30fps. Xbox Scorpio Coming 2017, Not As Powerful As Titan X

Microsoft announced that two new Xbox consoles are coming. The Xbox One S is coming this August for $299. It’s 40% smaller, comes with a new controller with built-in Bluetooth support, and it sports a USB port on the front of the console.
